ArtServe Michigan on the Creative State of Our Economy

ArtServe Michigan recently released a report regarding the importance of the arts and culture as a stimulus to economic improvement in the State of Michigan. One of the results of their Michigan Culture Data Project finds that “in 2010, arts, culture and historical attractions and events accounted for $2.1 billion, or 17 percent, of total tourism spending in Michigan…” Click the infographic below to see a larger version, and download the whole report (2 pages) here.
