Consumer Expenditure Survey

Data Driven Detroit, the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC), and Social Compact (a national non-profit research organization) are conducting consumer expenditure surveys in 6 underserved Detroit neighborhoods (see map below) in an effort to understand resident needs and attract the appropriate services and investments to these areas.

Households included in the survey are randomly selected by a computer program.  The survey is designed to last between 25 and 35 minutes.  The information gathered will be anonymous and confidential.

The information collected during the Consumer Expenditure Survey is very important and valuable.  The three partner organizations are striving to improve neighborhoods throughout Detroit.  We want all residents to have access to the services and amenities that make neighborhoods truly livable.
