Detroit Housing and Neighborhood Indicators Analysis

D3 provides foundations and our public and non-profit partners with current information about Detroit’s housing market to help inform their housing and neighborhood revitalization strategies.

D3 combines a variety of datasets to create a more complete picture of Detroit’s housing and neighborhood characteristics. This includes:

  • Proprietary and public data on land use, housing market activity, and parcel ownership;
  • HMDA mortgage reporting;
  • The Detroit Residential Parcel Survey; and
  • Other economic and demographic neighborhood indicators

D3 has provided analyses for Fannie Mae, the 2009 Mayor’s Summit on Foreclosure, the Neighborhood Stabilization Program application and implementation, and other city applications for federal funding.
