The Center for Michigan 2010 Scorecard

The 2010 Michigan Scorecard is a product of The Center for Michigan. Led by businessman and philanthropist Phil Power, the Center for Michigan is a non-partisan “think-and-do tank” designed to assist Michigan through its economic transformation and to lay the foundation of informed hope for a better future.

The 2010 Michigan Scorecard focused on three priority areas: Talent and Education, Economy and Quality of Life, and Government Accountability.

As a natural outgrowth of its work for the One D Scorecard, Data Driven Detroit provided state-level data for many of these scorecard indicators.

The Center collaborated with Data Driven Detroit to compile statistics on several indicators.  Data are ranked by state, and an overall picture of each indicator provided on the first page of the site (rainy, partly sunny, or sunny icon with a brief comparison to 2009).  For each indicator, a summary of the data is available in text format, and all of the data are available for download in Excel spreadsheets.
