Near the bottom, there is an interactive mapping application embedded that can be used to explore some of our data findings. There are three tabs:

Served: This tab provides information on where opportunity youth who were serviced by our partners at the time of the project live.
Estimate: This tab provides rough estimates for where all opportunity youth 16-19 years old live in Detroit
Comparison: This tab provides information on potential gaps in service – identifying where fewer Opportunity Youth are served in comparison to the estimate of how many there are.
On each tab in the map, you can click on a particular zip code to see specific data. You can zoom in and out using the icon on the upper-left hand corner, and scroll through the legend on the left-hand side to see what the colors mean for each map.

This Storymap also includes a link to a network map that lays out the Opportunity Youth ecosystem. Access from the bottom of the “Mapping the Ecoystem section by clicking the link or the “Explore” button
This network map displays organizations in Detroit that serve Opportunity Youth, organized by category. You can learn more about an organization by clicking on its circle on the map.
